Our January Library Haul

Every Wednesday is library day for us. That means story time for Bundle, quiet shelf browsing time for me (until baby comes! 🙂 ) and stacks and stacks of books for all of us.

This week we really went a bit crazy…but we found some great gems!

So this is ONE of our bags…
The spoils.

Bundle choose about half the stack, and I chose the other.

She is very into dinosaurs right now, and since we love the “How Do Dinosaurs…” titles by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague, we checked out all the titles our library had in. She also picked up a Lois Ehlert, and a couple of Christmas books that were still on display.

I scouted ahead for the Recess at 20 Below book – it looked perfect for the snowy forecast ahead this weekend! The Magic Tree House title is our current read aloud. The “mommy books” consist of all non-fiction this time (If you can’t tell from my Goodreads feed on the sidebar, I recently finished a crazy fiction rampage, so I thought I’d switch it up this week.)

Here are the books we’re currently reading!

Kid Books

How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You?  by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food?  by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague

How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas?  by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague

This one has a kindle version on amazon, too!

Good Housekeeping Magazine
I snagged a free copy of this month’s issue in the giveaway pile. The cover story is on Lauren Graham, too! Score!

We can’t wait to dive in! Hopefully I’ll have time to jot down how I liked my choices and you can check them out on my GoodReads feed later.

Hope you have some wonderful books keeping you warm this week!
