Between helping with (and having kids involved in) children’s choir, teaching a preschool class on Wednesday nights, teaching piano lessons 3 out of 5 evenings, and all the holiday buzz in general, my December plate is pretty full!
God whispered something so small … and so big… into my heart earlier this week.
That I need more of Him.
Hey, joyful friends!!
If you’ve been following me lately, you may have read that I’m teaming up again with Abby Barstow from The Joyful Homemakers Club for Round 2 of the #iamajoyfulhomemaker Instagram campaign.
I’m so excited — today is DAY 1!
Today’s prompt is “Your Joyful Face” – introduce YOU – The joyful homemaker!
Not all my Joyful Mama Friends are on Instagram, so I thought I’d post an invitation to #spreadjoy here on the blog, too.
I’m Faith – stay-at-home, homeschooling, Jesus-loving, coffee-consuming mama of two littles (Bundle and Baby Bear). We live in the very rural Midwest. When I’m not blogging or spreading joy on IG, you can find me in the garden, in the kitchen baking up gluten free desserts, or lounging on the couch with a cup of coffee and a good book in hand.
Are you a blogger? Please join me! Introduce yourself (and leave a link to your blog) in the comments. I’d love to get to know you!

Ready to join in? Head to my Instagram page and start spreading some joy!
I can’t wait to see you!
Physical strength is something that…well, doesn’t come easy to me! I don’t have a lot muscles, or a lot of extra time work building them! On better days though, I can feel the energy flowing – thanks caffeine – and feel the sudden need to DO ALL THE THINGS.
These would be my thoughts at midnight…2:30 a.m. …4:15 a.m. …
Do you ever feel like your thoughts are constantly running wild and robbing you of your focus and peace?
Water. Covered. Everything.
Welcome to part one of my new Weekly Brew Devotional series – The Greatest Commandment!
Today I want to jump head first into Scripture. No need to grab your Bible…here’s what I’m looking at:
*Disclaimer… this story is not within the realm of my usual blog post genres. Full disclosure: I’ve been putting off writing and posting this for several months. But during those months I’ve felt God wrap this part of my story in a sense of urgency to share it. I’m not sure who is meant to read it, but I pray that through it, someone else may be encouraged, and feel not so alone.
He is Risen!
Those glorious words resound throughout all nations this morning because, Praise be to God, our Saviour lives!
